American Sign Language is the 3rd most used language in the United States. It is a complex visual-spatial language that employs signs made with the hands and other movements, including facial expressions and postures of the body.  It is a linguistically complete, natural language. It is the native language of many deaf men and women. Sign language interpreting is a highly specialized field; simply knowing both sign language and English does not qualify a person as an interpreter.

PRIZMA Language Services, Inc.  provides Sign Language interpretation services with qualified professional interpreters that are familiar with the expectations and terminology related to courts, schools, entertainment events, private industry, hospitals and professional and medical offices.  Our professional Sign Language interpreters have developed interpreting skills through extensive training and practice over a long period of time. Our interpreters continue to actively improve their skills, knowledge, and professionalism and are certified with the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) having years of experience in their related fields.

Our goal is to provide quick, friendly, and reliable coordination of all services. A minimum 48 hours notice is requested, and a one week notice is preferred.  As a general rule, the more in advance one can make a request for service, the greater the likelihood resources will be available.
